MONICA HARMS, M.D.

Family Practice, Sports Nutritionist, Certified Personal Trainer

Dr. Harms received her medical degree from Keck School of Medicine of USC and she completed her residency at Loma Linda University. She specializes in adolescent health, pediatrics, weight management, nutrition, personal fitness, alternative medicine and preventive care.

MARLENE YACOOB, M.D.

Board Certified: Family Medicine

Dr. Marlene Yacoob has been practicing as a board certified family physician and member of the AAFP for 25 years in California.  She graduated top of her class at University of Western Ontario School of Medicine in London.  Currently Dr. Yacoob provides one of the few primary care medical practices with a holistic and patient centric focus, combining different facets of wellness and cutting-edge medical testing.  She is an active member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Society, and she speaks both Spanish and French fluently.  Dr. Yacoob continues to enjoy the challenge of treating a broad range of medical conditions in her practice with particular focus on Eating Disorders and Women's Health Issues.  She has dedicated herself to ensuring access of care to underserved populations within her community.  Whether it is a regular checkup or a complex medical condition, Dr. Yacoob provides her patients with unmatched care.

LYNN NAPOLI, M.D.

General Practice

Dr. Napoli prides herself in providing her patients with the time and attention they need and finds resolutions for their health and wellness concerns.  Dr. Napoli has been in private practice as a primary care physician since 2005 and joined SCKE-Odyssey in 2018. She earned her undergraduate degree at University of California, Berkeley, her medical degree from The University of California, Irvine, and completed her family practice internship at the UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica. She contributed to the book, “Solutions: The Women’s Crisis Handbook,” and has taught at Concordia University in Irvine, California.

 

Dr. Napoli provides her patients  family and general medical care at SCKE-Odyssey Medical Group in Laguna Hills and Irvine as well as women's health services including MonaLisa Touch, and the body contouring treatment SculpSure.

STEPHEN IERARDI, M.D. FAAFP

FAMILY MEDICINE

Dr. Ierardi was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and grew up in Rochester, New York. His dream as a child was to become a doctor because he had such admiration for his family doctor. He graduated from Williams College in Massachusetts, University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and the UC Irvine Family Medicine Internship and Residency program where he served as Chief Resident. He has been in private practice in Laguna Hills since 1989.

 

Dr. Ierardi has been certified by the American Board of Family Medicine since 1989; is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians; received the Physicians Recognition Award from the American Medical Association; served as Chairman of
Family Medicine at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center for six years, and served on several committees at SMMC over the years, as he does presently.

 

Dr. Ierardi chose Family Medicine for the variety of patients and the ability to treat patients in all aspects of their health care. He focuses on both preventative medicine and treating a broad range of medical conditions. His approach prioritizes building trust and
longterm partnerships to help patients reach their health goals. He genuinely enjoys helping his patients and feels privileged to be their trusted physician. He welcomes patients of all ages and especially enjoys taking care of infants and children.
 

Dr. Ierardi enjoys spending time with his wife and children, stand-up paddle boarding, Anaheim Ducks hockey, and visiting his home state of Hawaii.

Anna Bantigue, NP

Certified Nurse Practitioner

Anna expresses her caring personality by her understanding of patients’ medical needs. She is Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who also loves to be an educator on Diabetes Nutritional Management. She believes that obtaining patient comprehension is a key to attain best goal of wellness. She was an advanced practicing clinician for Disease Management for several years. She has participated in numerous Medical Missions both local and international. On her spare time she does oil paints and donates her paintings to non profit organizations.

JILL JONES, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

Jill received her Physician Assistant degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. Her focus is on women’s health, adolescent medicine, and family practice and enjoys empowering patients to take charge of their own health. Se habla español.

YASEEN KADY, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

Yaseen Kady is a Physician Assistant working in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Lipidology.  He is a part of SCKE Health's Lipid Clinic team. Yaseen received his Masters in Physician Assistant studies from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 2019.

His practice philosophy focuses on patient communication and understanding. Yaseen's main goals are not only to assess and treat disease using evidence-based guidelines, but also to understand the patient's lifestyle, priorities, and perception of their illness. By doing so, Yaseen and the patient can establish mutually-agreed upon realistic treatment/management goals. His belief is that this approach will empower the patient, enhance treatment compliance, and ultimately promote life-long health and wellness.

Additionally, Yaseen is interested in the interpretation and application of genomic data in the clinic: genetic variants may help identify complex and serious disease predisposition. In 2015, Yaseen co-founded Guardiome, a whole genome sequencing company focused on improving patient accessibility to personalized genomic data. His hope is that in the near future, omics data will be readily available to help improve primary prevention of various diseases.

KAMEKO OSHIRO, PA-C

Certified Physician Assistant

Kameko received her Physician Assistant degree from Chapman University in Orange, CA. Her focus is in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, and Lipidology. She is a part of SCKE Health's Lipid Clinic team. Her goal is to educate her patients and provide excellent care.

NICOLE SANTOS, FNP-BC

Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Nicole is a Long Island, New York native. She received her Master’s degree of Science from Long Island University in 2022 after working at the bedside as critical care registered nurse for over 6 years. 
Her main goal as a provider is to be actively involved in not only the treatment of patients but also maintenance of health and optimizing wellness in the community in a compassionate manner whilst empowering them to become actively involved in the prevention and treatment of their medical issues through education and combating barriers of learning.

RAHIL BANDUKWALA, D.O.

Director of Male and Female Hormones

Rahil A. Bandukwala, D.O. is Director of the Men's and Women's Health Clinic and Best Practice Chair for Diabetes at Memorial Care Health Systems. Dr. Bandukwala is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Dr. Bandukwala received his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO. 

His interests include all areas of Endocrinology with special interest and experience managing hormone replacement therapy for women and testosterone replacement therapy for men. 

Dr. Bandukwala was born and raised in Chicago area and is a devoted husband and father of two wonderful daughters. 


SAM POURBABAK, M.D.

Board Certified: Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, Internal Medicine

Director of Thyroid and Adrenal Disease

Dr. Sam Pourbabak is the director of Thyroid and Adrenal Diseases Clinic at the South County Kidney and Endocrine Center.
He also oversees Diabetes and disorders of Lipids and other aspects of Endocrinology. Dr. Pourbabak was part of the "Artificial Pancreas" research project at UCLA for "Closed Loop Insulin Pump" as well as studying of the Adiponectine, a new Hormonal factor for the Obesity.
On a personal level, Dr. Pourbabak is a member of "Doctors Without Borders" and has participated in many of their voluntary humanitarian missions. Dr. Pourbabak speaks French and Farsi as well as English. He likes to play Tennis and is an avid swimmer!

Director of Pituitary Disease 

Dr. Shilpa Mehta is Board Certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism and received her degree from The University of Cincinnati. She prides herself in having good communication with patients and provides a safe environment to discuss health concerns.  She is the Director of Pituitary Disease  at SCKE, and in addition sees patients with a variety of Endocrine disorders including Diabetes, Adrenal insufficiency, and Thyroid disease. Dr. Mehta is happily married and the mother of 2 daughters.

LISA MARKMAN, M.D.

Board Certified: Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, Internal Medicine
Director of PCOS and Menopause

Dr. Markman is Board Certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism as well as Internal Medicine. She joined SCKE in September 2022 and previously worked in New York City after completing her fellowship at NYU Langone in 2012. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Psychology, attended medical school in Israel at Ben Gurion University in their program for International Health in collaboration with Columbia University, and completed residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY.
She enjoys treating the vast array of complicated endocrine disorders, and takes a particular interest in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. She published research in a peer reviewed journal on atypical femoral fracture in osteoporosis during her time as a fellow and attending in NYC.
Dr Markman grew up in Southern California. She enjoys spending her free time with her two children and exercising outdoors.

JOJI JAMES, M.D.

Board Certified: Nephrology, Internal Medicine
Director of Chronic Kidney Disease, Hypertension, and Renal Transplant

Dr. James is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Queens in 2017 and finished his Nephrology fellowship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 2019. Dr. James is the Director of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), hypertension, and kidney transplant but also specializes in management of dialysis, glomerular diseases and electrolyte disorders. Prior to joining SCKE Health, he was at a private practice in Pennsylvania and was the medical director of dialysis center for 2 years. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching basketball.

BRIAN CHAVEZ, M.D.

Board Certified: Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism; Director of Diabetes

Brian E. Chavez, M.D. is the Director of SCKE’s Diabetes Clinic and serves as the Medical Director for the Saddleback Memorial Diabetes Clinic and is a member of the Glycemic Control Committee and Diabetes Best Practices Committee at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Chavez specializes in Diabetes care, insulin pump therapy, and all endocrine disorders, including thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, and pituitary diseases. He is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism as well as Internal Medicine. Dr. Chavez has also been involved in cutting-edge research studies in diabetes, obesity, and the polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). He advocates patient education to empower patients to take control of their diabetes and encourages patients to be proactive in their endocrine care.


On a personal note, though he was born in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Chavez spent most of his younger years in Costa Mesa, CA. His hobbies include playing the piano, keeping up with computer technology, and most importantly, spending time with his wife and children.

Dr. Chavez went to medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and did his training in Internal medicine and Endocrinology at U.C. San Diego. 

PRIYANKA KRISHNAN, M.D.

Board Certified: Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, Internal Medicine

Director of Osteoporosis

Dr. Krishnan is a board certified Endocrinologist. She grew up in Tampa, Florida. She did her undergraduate training at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and medical school, internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship training at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida. Prior to joining SCKE in 2015, she was in private practice in Florida. 

Dr. Krishnan is the Director of Osteoporosis at SCKE. She enjoys seeing a variety of endocrine conditions on a daily basis including diabetes, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome, hypogonadism, adrenal and pituitary conditions. She performs her own thyroid biopsies in the office. She is comfortable managing insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems. She strives to help her patients better understand their medical conditions and work with them toward improved health. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors and spending time with her husband, son and rescue dog.

RAYMOND K.J. CHANG, M.D., ABCL

Internal Medicine, Nephrology and Endocrinology, Certified Clinical Lipidologist

Medical Director

Raymond K.J. Chang, M.D. is the Medical Director of South County Kidney and Endocrine Center. Dr. Chang is a Diplomate of the American College of Endocrinology, Nephrology, Lipidology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Chang received his medical degree from University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, MN. He is author and Editor in Chief of a National Internal Medicine Board Review book. He is a national speaker for current treatments and therapies pertaining to Diabetes, Lipids and Chronic Kidney Disease. Additionally, he serves as a clinic professor for the University of California, Irvine. His philosophy is to treat every patient as if they were his own family member; hence, is always an advocate for his patients’ healthcare.

 

On a personal note, Dr. Chang was born in Taiwan. He has lived in Orange County, CA for nearly 50 years. His hobbies include gardening, running, and watching movies.
